A throwback to our visit to the @faolchufurniture stand at the @decorex_international 2018 show London, we experienced timeless designs exquisitely handcrafted to the highest levels of perfection and attention to detail. The choice of materials is influenced by the appreciation for Scotland’s rich heritage with its array of crafts and resources from the tanneries and mills producing the finest leather and textiles to the foundries with generations of expertise.
The selection of quality hardwoods is from around the world, though predominately native species from Scotland’s estates and woodlands are hand selected for their distinctive and unique characteristics. Finished with natural oils and waxes, enhancing the grain and figure while maintaining a hand feel appearance. Faolchú’s collection is exotic and yet created with a consideration to the practical function of furniture in our daily lives.
